E. On May 24, 1936, Tony Lazzeri became the first player in major league history to record two grand slams in a single game. "Push 'em Up" Tony batted in 11 runs during the game. And in Game 2 of that year's Fall Classic, he hit another grand slam as the Yankees beat the Giants in six games.
